Happy New Year to all my lovely readers! Hope you and your loved ones are all are safe and healthy.

It’s been a very busy quarter 4 for us (as you would have noticed I didn’t post anything for a while). We were busy with shifting to our new nest since September last year. I feel so happy and excited when I think about our new home in which we are now fully settled (with a few bits of course to be still worked on….never ending!). And this excitement is not just for the new home but also because we are living our dream of staying closer to the countryside and away from the chaos of the city of London. It’s too beautiful and serene when you are close to nature and feel that inner peace & happiness. Our munchkin is super excited and happy too, to discover the new surroundings and nature walks : )

We managed to explore our surrounding areas and for this year our first visit of 2022 was at the Windsor Great Park – Illuminated! The experience that we had was like a sensation of blissfulness warming us all over in the cold winter evening in the middle of a light trail at this beautiful place. A few miles away from our place is Windsor, The Great Park which gets lighted up once a year with an adventurous trail starting a few weeks before Christmas and lasting up to the new year.

You will have to book tickets in advance and the trail starts from early evening. It takes about 1.5 – 2 hours to complete the trail with a lighted path and sounds matching the majestic light show throughout the trail. There are yummy food options in the trail where you can stop and eat delicious warm pizzas and chips with a glass of mulled wine or hot chocolate for kids. Can you imagine being with your loved ones cosying up on a beautiful wintery evening and enjoying a sip of warm drink through magical light trail all around you? It’s so romantic and special! We had an absolutely lovely time and the best experience in the new year with our little one. He was mesmerised looking at the lights!
