This is our second visit to the beautiful Aldenham Country Park. It’s basically a huge woodland area with so many things to see. My previous post on this was “The Drive Thru Winterfest”. This time we decided to visit the farm to check out on all the animals and also go on a little walking trail with our bud.
We first visited the farm and fed the animals with the food that was given to us at the reception. (Included in our farm tickets). Shlok was ever so happy to see the animals and of course feed them. I mean…who doesn’t love to feed the little beautiful creatures…not something we get to do everyday! We saw cows, piggies, ostrich, peacock, guinea pigs, goats, chickens….and so on!
Once we were done with the farm visit, we sat for a little while and fed ourselves….(we always carry our picnic mat and snacks with us…hah!) After relaxing for a while we started our little Winnie the Pooh walking trail. It started in a wooden forestry area with story boards at equal distance for kids to read and relate to the trail. It was amazing! There was also a little Pooh bridge that we crossed and went on the other side to see a cute little house built around a tree. It was so cute…I mean…would have happily stayed in it! Shlok was thrilled and kept knocking the door for Winnie the Pooh to open it. I had to tell him he has gone out for shopping and we will have to revisit him later 🙂
We as family love walking trails and it was so cool for us to take Shlok to one of his walking trails which he could easily relate to! We ended our trail as usual by having an ice cream in the hot weather and were glad to add this place to our list of favourites!
A few pictures from the walking trail! Hope you like them.
